Associated Student Body (ASB)

You can become president. Not just when you grow up, but right now. Join the Student Council and learn leadership skills that can take you far in life.

The Student Council is a student-run organization that provides opportunities for our students to actively participate in student government. Officers are elected by the students. You can make a difference in your school, and learn how effect change.

The Student Council gets the chance to conduct a variety of events and activities throughout the school year -- it's government by the kids, for the kids. Students organize events that are not only fun they often promote school spirit and help the community. Check it out kids, ask your teacher how to get involved.

ASB is a one year elective class. Students must complete an application to be eligible for the class. Students are recommended for ASB based on their leadership potential, academic achievement, and willingness to participate in extracurricular activities. ASB students are role models on campus. They plan and execute many activities for the students. ASB students work hard to create an enjoyable atmosphere and climate on campus. They must also have and maintain a 3.0 in citizenship and academics.
